French for Beginners – Level 2
A follow-on language course for those who have covered the basics and want to progress further. Covering new and revised topics, including socialising, shopping, dining out, work, family, time, numbers and dates for organising and discussing social activities and travel, forming questions and answers, and learning to use different tenses. There will also be an opportunity to improve pronunciation and create original sentences with confidence.
You will already have experience of the absolute basics of the language, and may have followed a Year 1 course or similar. This is NOT suitable for people with a recent GCSE, but you may have followed an O-Level course or similar a number of years ago and wish to revive and update your knowledge and skills.
You will learn through groupwork, pair work, teacher-led activities and manageable conversations.
Please bring a pen and paper – there are no specific reference materials required at this stage.
Following this course you can progress to Beginners-Intermediate French (Year 3).
