Home Interiors

The basic principals of design : Colour theory, Function, Scale and Space, Mood boards etc. will be discussed and used to help students understand, create and develop their own individual ideas on home interiors.

We will look at inspirational sources of style, textures and pattern and build up personal design scrap books.

The course will be relaxed and delivered in a friendly atmosphere. How the course develops will largely be dependent on students needs, interests and progress, therefore being ” Tailor -made”.

No previous experience, knowledge, or qualifications is needed.

You will learn through class discussion, research, information handouts, use of colour charts, illustrations, creating mood boards.

Items to bring or wear to class include notebooks and pens initially then coloured pencils and pens, magazines or research material, scrapbook, and mountboard to create mood boards.

Over the length of the course there will be some additional low-cost outlay for items mentioned above.
