Writing to be Published
A practical course that highlights the essential components, knowledge and skills required in writing for publication.
Individual, practical application in understanding different writing styles for different purposes, detailed planning & structure, sub-plots, learning how to develop 3D characterisation, common writing mistakes, how to write a synopsis and elevator pitch and much more.
The course will provide participants with the basic, literary tools necessary to write a book.
No previous knowledge is required, just a good imagination and plenty of ideas.
Individuals will learn through interactive discussion, demonstration, support materials, PowerPoint presentation & individual, practical exercises.
Items to bring to class include:
Writing pad, pens/pencils.
Any existing writing in progress.
Individual topics for discussion & practice.
