This course will improve confidence in using your own sewing machine; a basic how to guide to develop skills and knowledge.
Aims and objectives:
– how to thread the machine and fill the bobbin
– become familiar with various foot attachments (specific machines will vary)
– utilise various stitch types and recognise for end purpose
– complete the buttonhole function
– make small sewing projects to develop skills (level depending)
– understanding electronic functions
This course is designed for beginners only and own sewing machines must be brought to each session.
Progression could continue to sewing or dressmaking classes.
