Choir – Nunthorpe Singers

Within the choir members will gain confidence to sing a wide range of song styles, and also the skill of reading music, all in an informal relaxed atmosphere.

No previous experience, knowledge, or qualifications are needed.

You will learn by joining in and having a go, but there will be some use of the whiteboard for learning music theory/note-reading.

Items to bring or wear to class include:

  • Sheet music
  • Music theory handouts will be given, which should be brought back for use in each session.

There are no additional costs to members except extra social events such as going out for a meal at the end of term, which is of course not compulsory!

At the end of each term a concert is held within the local community raising funds for chosen charities.
