A flowing class of Hatha Yoga combining movement with breath, with gentle breathwork and meditation at the end. Accessible for all abilities. No previous experience or knowledge is required – all levels of ability are welcome.
Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body and mind. This practice is often modified and can be as challenging as you wish it to be, with modified poses for beginners and more challenging options for more experienced practitioners, making it accessible to all. Your practice deepens and grows with you as you progress.
Individuals will learn by practicing physically as well as having postures and alignment explained. Philosophy and meditation techniques will be covered in class too; homework tasks will be set if the students wish to study at home.
Items to bring to class include:
Lose clothing, leggings – comfortable clothes;
Warm clothes, blanket and warm socks (for final relaxation/meditation);
Exercise mat/ yoga mat – preferably non-slip.
